I have been BUILDING FAMILIES for over 33 years – via private adoption, agency assisted adoption, gamete donation and surrogacy. As a practicing attorney in the areas of reproductive law and adoption, which is a unique and fulfilling practice, I have not worked a day in my life.

I offer competent and reasonable legal advice to my clients and zealously advocate for their best interests while remaining aware of the end goal. At the same time, I am a dedicated, caring and thoughtful advocate and am always available to my clients – I am literally at the other end of my phone at all times.

I have been a Fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA) for thirty years and served as its President, Executive Director of Adoption and a Trustee for seven years. I was also a founding member of the New York Attorneys for Adoption and Family Formation (NYAAFF) uniting experienced family building attorneys in the State to advocate for children and families. As a Fellow of AAAA and founding member of NYAAFF, I am well connected to attorneys throughout the country and state who excel in their family building practices.

As a co-author of the New York State Child Parent Security Act, I was on the ground floor advocating for change to the surrogacy laws in New York to make compensated surrogacy legal and safe for New York families and gestational surrogates.
